  1. Hey forum lovers, Its been awhile since I've logged on to check things out, But I gotta say its so great to be back to see whats going on and being said. I love a great conversation battle. Its BBQ people, what could be better then that, OK, I can think of a few things . Hey drunk J, love your slammed I am lines. I had a great laugh with the opera comment. All of this is what keeps people reading. It gives us laughter, its a good thing. I'm wanting to cook some ribs soon, Anyone have any suggestions on what temp to put ribs at and how long I should cook them. I use a bbq guru on mine and I'm a brisket chick so ribs are new for me.   2. love my KK Hi Porkchop, Thats me in the picture. It was on the first day I got my Komodo K. The lid actually holds itself up. Theres a tension spring on the back that you can adjust to make it easy to open. The grill itself was very heavy so I needed a couple of strong men to put it on the porch for me. Now I'm a cookin fool. Thanks for the compliment also. I appreciate it very much. But what women wouldn't. I'll be putting more pics up soon so check back and check um out. Do you have one of dennis' K's or richards?
  3. BBQ GURU I love my Komodo with the guru. I've cooked some killer briskets with it. Shotgun is a great guy and would do his best to please his customers as well as Dennis. I would recommend that if you want a great setup for BBQing Dennis and fred are the only people you would need to talk to...great Q is waiting for you, what are you waiting for....
  4. I bought my Komodo K in Sept. It arrived in great shape and a few days after my birthday so I consider it a present to myself. Dennis was great to work with, he had my grill to me within 2 weeks of ordering it. All my friends say it looks like a rocket, so now I call it my yard rocket. The komodo K is a great cooker and a great conversation piece when company is over. I'm very impressed by the quality and beauty of it. I've cooked killer briskets and the turkey for thanksgiving was so delicious, I have to cook for thanksgiving and Christmas all the time now. I absolutely love my Komodo K and with the bbq guru, talk about great meals with little work, you put your meat on set your temps and walk away until its time to pull it off and eat.
