If you visit the following web site you should get all the information you need: amazngribs.com Good Luck!
  2. I was able to find the KK on Amazon in the "Patio, Lawn & Garden" section. My search term was Komodo Kamado. Then I returned to the Amazon site and did a general search using "kamado cooker" as my search term. The KK showed up on the first page of my search results. This may not be typical, because I suspect there is some sort of search memory that refines your results based on previous searches. My review as well as all the others are exemplary, and hopefully will be of some benefit to Dennis' sales efforts.
  3. Re: Roti operation Mad Medic, Would you mind describing an "adjustable shaft"? My roti operation experience has not been up to the standards experienced with the other features of the KK. My plan is (the next time I use the roti) to document my problems and send the info to Dennis for his review and comment. I had just not seen the adjustable shaft referred to before, so was curious. Thanks, JimG
  4. Re: Got Married, KK Front and Center! Congrats Larry to you and your new bride. Eddie and I celebrate anniversary number 50 this year. We received my/our new KK in January and have been using/experimenting with it numerous times since. One of the things I have experienced is an increasing level of encouragement from Eddie to continue my cooking adventures. I believe it has dawned on her that my increased level of activity in this sphere means less cooking for her. I suspect you will (if it has not already happened) experience this effect as well. I can see from your posts that you are a dedicated KK aficionado. I suspect that it is only a metter time until your new bride is a KK "true believer" as we'll. Again, Congratulations!
  5. Re: Roti install question Help ddowell, Please send me a private message that contains your email address. I just attempted to send you an email message at the following address: [email protected]. It was rejected. Thanks, Jim
  6. Re: Roti install question Help Similar issues. I will forward to you all documentation, photos, etc. that I have sent to Dennis. Jim
  7. Re: Roti install question Help Dennis, I have sent a couple of emails within the last week or so related to this same issue. The last email, sent Jan 8, has numerous photographs as well as a word document containing a fairly extensive discussion of the problem(s). Since this email I have a few additional items (roti and other). I will send another email tomorrow detailing this. You may want to look over this information before your Monday conversation with Joe. Thanks, Jim Gibson
  8. Re: I was robbed again.. ;-( Dennis, How horrible this must be for you and your family. Last April my wife and I, son and daughter-in-law experienced a theft while visiting Cordoba, Spain. I remember the anger, frustration and feeling of helplessness that came over me. As you, we only lost "things", but unlike you it was not a personal invasion of our space. I hope your visit to the security people results in a solution to this awful problem. Our thoughts are with you and your family. Jim P.S. Please ignore my recent email until you gain some normalcy back into your life - no urgency.
  9. Just wanted to introduce myself to this information rich forum. After considerable research and some communication with Dennis, I reached the same conclusion as the rest of you - had to have a Komodo Kamado! It has now been ordered and I commence to absorb as much information as I am able from the sage advice within the forum. Thanks to you and Dennis for providing this rich environment for the Komodo experience and camaraderie. Jim Gibson
