Hey FMonkey.... I have been away for a while, quite a while. Had some life changes - wife left, kids starting college, not a lot of grill time. Hope to hang around more. And yes, the last time or 2 I logged in, the forum was such a kludge I wasn't too motivated to come back. This is looking much better!

Re: Corner Rack? Hey, I was the source of the item in question. (VersaGrill) The drilling is/was only required to use with the roti, otherwise it stands on it's own legs. I don't know how many people actually drilled, I did and didn't have any problems. It doesn't take much to hold it in place. Firemonkey, you could cut your pins down to nubs and see how it goes, it won't void your warranty.

Those look really useful, now we need a Fire Wire slot in the base so we can get the ends outside. I guess I could poke a couple through the Polder port.

Is the spacing of the posts such that the grills can be hung from their side? (will the posts go between the grill rods) I find it easy to lift the grill out, let the the left side down and hang it from the "side" of the grill - it can all be done from the front of the KK. Hanging the grill from it's "back" will likely require moving yourself to the side to hang it. (especially if it's hot)

I suppose you think the new plate is more elegant than this...
