  2. Hi all! I have the propane gas option hooked up to my 22 and I've been using a high pressure turkey regulator to start up the charcoal. The problem is I've gone through about three of them now. They end up leaking at the part where you screw it into the K. I've used gas teflon tape and it works for awhile then eventually the gas coming out is very sparse. Has anyone here had the same problem and what's the solution? Thanks!

  6. Hi All, Saw this butcher paper at Costco and it looks good. It's not pink like the one most people use to wrap their briskets. Do you think this is just as good for wrapping food?

  9. This took about 4 hours 325F direct. Pulled at 190. Family was hungry! One of the best roti cooks ever!
  10. I was just going to go full basket. Will probably do it at 325F-350F because of time constraint. It's not a bone in and the butcher tied it up with twine. It's in the fridge now with a rub of evoo, salt, pepper, garlic powder, fresh thyme and rosemary.

  13. Thanks MacKenzie. I have a 21 as well and might try that. I'm having second thoughts about doing roti style now as I rubbed turkey with slow roasted garlic/salt throughout and placed a lot of the garlic inside the cavity. Afraid that they will all fall out during the cook.
  14. Hi All, Anyone doing a rotisserie turkey? I'm thinking about it but I'd like to catch some of the drippings and that might be a challenge. What do you think?
