Is the pizza stone good to use for making the heat indirect? I guess I would place it right about the basket? I want to cook a boston butt for a while at a low temperature? Thanks, Skip/Jocko
I would really appreciate any advice on cooking the above. Do I need to put the stone in the cooker? I see these people on the Food Network cooking beef Briskets at 150 degrees for 8 hours and I can't figure out how to do that. There has to be a way. Any advice is appreciated. Best, Jocko.
Surgery went wonderfully and today I ordered the new KK. It should be shipped by the 25th of Sept, so I should have it by the end of the month. I am obviously very excited and anxious to fire that baby up.
Best Regards, Jocko
I am new to ceramic cooking and to the KK world. Just very glad that I read enough on the internet to find KK and not just the K. Dennis has been wonderful to work with. I am waiting until after 9-12 to have the KK shipped so I will know how my hip replacement surgery went. Any advice for a newbie will be very much appreciated.
