PBS Project Smoke season 2

18 posts in this topic

I was flipping through Instagram and found some photos of a KK live on set of Project Smoke Season 2 with host Steven Raichlen. I confirmed with Dennis and learned that KK was chosen by Raichlen to represent the Kamado cooker.

The photos being published show some very high end equipment and the on set staff seem to be in love with a 23" Ultimate!!

This is really cool stuff!!!

In this episode Raichlen cooks a pork belly on the KK!!

Thats great!

I love that colour and I think I recognize the guy hugging the KK as the equipment manager, he makes a few appearances on the show when Steve needs stuff lifted! LOL

Great PR Dennis, congrats :)

His was one of the first BBQ books that I bought. It's still one of my "go to" sources.

Though S.R. didn't mention the grill used in a different post, I think it will look familiar to this crowd.

I'm happy to see that Komodo Kamado is a movie star. I hope the sales go through the roof from the publicity.

Awesome. I would certainly expect this will boost sales through the roof. The cobalt blue will fantastic on camera!

If anybody out there is sitting on the fence about buying one of these beauties, you'd better get your order in before this show airs, or you'll likely find yourself well back in the queue and waiting extra time to get yours!!

I have the Planet BBQ book of his and it's awesome with all the ways people around the world grill!
