Shuley Posted October 9, 2016 Report Share Posted October 9, 2016 So tonight during my cook， when the lid was open I noticed that the pin (not sure that is the technical term) that goes into the rod of the cap to make sure you don't loosen it too much was missing. I removed the grates and looked in the firebox but I couldn't find it. Does anyone know the correct term and sizeof the pin and if i can just grab one from home depot? ckreef Posted October 9, 2016 Report Share Posted October 9, 2016 As Aussie said it's called a cotter pin. Home Depot, Lowes or just about any hardware store will have them.
