T-Bone

Dee has been away for a few days went to visit her parents in Geraldton which is about 480 kms away or 5 hours drive just up the road so I had to fend for myself lol got hold of this nice T bone3c87e6177ad0c9a4947f0245ec5ec8f7.jpg079b88d1d161e7d7e2a89a687da9d9b5.jpgI gave it some of this8b48b1545407d0e6673f8e6354e6e80a.jpg617f88be8c314ab19574c242a81360a5.jpgand on it goes reverse sear39cc19b0f2cd46905f5ceda7c82220e8.jpgI got it to 120 and gave it a rest then put my Grill grates on to warm up c09916b2fa066b7a95cb04c6e46d782b.jpgand gave it a sear12f09a3ddcd0658fc3169d331e52325b.jpgserved with you guessed it salad and chips lold76c1cd207152a143f8e0e8c55da2ac8.jpgthe twisted Q bourbon and brown sugar is absolutely fantastic could smell it cooking and it tasted so good even sprinkled some on my chips. Actually, with the amount of tenderloin on that steak it would be called a Porterhouse here in the States. Nice looking hunk'a meat, @Aussie Ora, my hat's off to you and your butcher. You both done good!


Cheers mate I think once they get over a certain thickness they are porterhouse but still called T bones. I can get these pretty easy. But I don't get them often prefer the thinner ones for the quick grill
