Breaking the plug open for the Guru port

Recommended Posts

Lost in translation..

Somewhere along the line, a worker changed, transfered but the plug intent was lost here in the factory and the plug became too dense.. They are back to crumpling up a lil ball of paper then making a little refractory ball and plugging the Guru port.. This should facilitate easy removal in the future cookers... Sorry to have made you work to remove them..

Install Guru Inducer Tube..

This is the small inducer tube.. The Guru faceplate was designed for it. The hole was CNC (digitally) cut for this tube.

When held up to the hole it will appear to be too large for the hole.

But with a firm tap.. it will slip in.

Sometimes one side will be higher and need to be tapped down.

Once in, it is very solid, tight and does not need any silicon.
