  1. Coming along. The boys will be positioned just outside that open door to the right. Trading the forest view in my current house for the mountains.

  2. To end our Star Wars marathon we had indulgent lamb rolls with gravy - lamb shoulder I brought back from Sydney. Monsoon season here so it is a bit hard to work the machine - it was easier on the balcony! Saw the latest Star Wars today at the cinema - was good Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  4. @lemisfits here are the recipes I've been using to make Peruvian chicken. My mother in law has told me numerous times that my sauce is really good and authentic and she's been known to go into Peruvian restaurants in San Diego to talk to the chefs to tell them their food was not authentic...... Peruvian Roasted Chicken I just make a rub using something like this 3 tbsp salt 3 tbsp pepper 2 tbsp garlic 1 tbsp aji amarillo 1 tbsp aji mirasol 1 tbsp cumin Peruvian Green Sauce Ingredients 3 whole jalapeño chiles, (If you want a spicier sauce leave the seeds in!) 1 cup fresh cilantro leaves 2 medium cloves garlic 1/2 cup mayonnaise 1/4 cup sour cream 2 teaspoons fresh juice from 1 lime 1 teaspoon distilled white vinegar Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil https://pin.it/haqx5oavxgawy2 I then also make roasted red potatoes with garlic, rosemary and a little shave parmesean and then use the Peruvian green sauce on top of the chicken and potatoes. Always a hit. Should end up looking something like this.

  5. @Troble Welcome! As a former San Diegan I understand how lucky you are. Phil's BBQ has nothing on what your KK can do. I would love for you to have your wife share a Peruvian Chicken recipe. Here is what I did with my back yard.

  7. Good advice. I might do pizza tomorrow and i think i will start the grill early and bring it up to temp following the burn-in guide. I will se if I get the smell and decide what to do from there. Did a chicken yesterday. OMG that was amazing. I think my primo did a good job on chicken but still amazing to see an improvement. 😀

  9. @tony b thank you did the advice. I am sorry for being early but I’m excited! Working with Dennis to finalize everything now and letting my contractor know about the purchase. I really appreciate your feedback. Thank you @MacKenzie thank you for the advice. Reading some of your posts and seeing pictures of your food really got me excited about the KK. I look forward to trying to learn a few of your tricks!

  14. Mac don’t turn into a sweet potatoe! Just stay sweet. Those chocolates look so good. My daughter just sent me a box of chocolate coated macadamia nuts from Hawaii and I’m sad to say I ate the whole box. Lol and they tasted yummy.

  16. Ever since Syzygies set me on the trail of PC sweet potatoes I am on a mission. Here is a carrot and sweet potatoe PC cook I did today. Delicious and very creamy. https://minimalistbaker.com/fluffy-mashed-sweet-potatoes-and-carrots/?omhide=true Speaking of delicious, my friend made me these chocolates and believe me I am hiding them and rationing them.

  17. Very nice! What do you ask the butcher to cut when you want a tri-tip? Or have you trained the local butcher up? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
