I was just about to respond to Troble's question when I realised that I have no idea what type of freezer we have. The Husband is in charge of procuring equipment. I just ran back up the stairs, feeling a little ashamed about quite how large my freezer is, when I saw bgrant's message. Oh well, in for a penny, in for a pound...
The freezer is commercial, that much I know. No branding on the outside but a label on the inside says it is a Gemfrost.
It looks like this.
Those trays are two deep. And full.
There's enough food in that freezer I could eat for a year! Are you trying to feed an army?

What has not been mentioned is the 8 mates on the balcony drinking Guiness and standing around the BB admiring it's good looks. Now we have doubled the weight.
Reminds me of years ago and a friend's back porch that collapsed when his parents were out of town. Yea bad idea putting the keg out there and everyone trying to get a refill.

Great write up. To be honest we have been making actual homemade chips lately. (American potato chips not French fries). Maybe we'll have to try this out to make French fries.

Mine is a Nuke Delta grill. I got it from BBQGuys. It's handmade in Argentina but is a lower end unit. It does not have the V shaped Grates but I do have a set of custom cut Grill Grates for it to take care of the fat issue when needed. I mainly use it for cooking steaks.

Since it's "not on the porch," I assume that you didn't count the wood-fired pizza oven in this accounting of grills?
The WFO and Santa Maria style grill are still out in the BBQ garden. The PKGO and CampChef are hanging out in the trailer waiting for the next camping trip.

You're right Charles. I did not, for one minute, think you had sold all your grills. What prompted the "downsizing"? Sorry to see that the 16 is not in the favoured group.
The 16 just wasn't getting used very often. The porch was very crowded. Now I have space to breath.

I know you don't actually think I sold all my grills.
Only two grills left on the porch that is. 16" Komodo Kamado, Primo Oval Jr, LG Konro, and special side burner setup have all been cleaned up and are in storage in a spare room in the house.
What's left on the porch is my 19" Komodo Kamado and my Blackstone Pro series griddle. Let's not forget my picnic table with a large rectangular hole in the middle where the Konro use to reside - LOL
I guess this is a testament of what grills I use the most.

Nice. That was my first hibachi grill before I got the Konro. I still have it tucked away on the bottom BBQ shelf. Works just like my Konro only smaller.

Awesome on the package finally arriving. Didn't know that about Famous Dave's. Those spice blend packages came from a kewl spice store on Jekyll Island when we went camping last time. I bought myself the same set of 4 but I haven't tried them yet.
Let me know if you need any guidance on the Travel Bug. If you look at its description and goal we are going to make that Travel Bugs owner a very happy person as we definitely gave a huge boost for that goal.
Thanks for your help with that.

I really do believe the PKGo will do 90% of my cooking needs.
Between my CampChef griddle/burner combination and the PKGO I think I'm covered pretty good.

Beore my family finds out about the new grill and has me committed 😬
I warned Mrs skreef it was coming sooner or later. She found out how serious I was when we got home Friday and it was sitting on the front porch - LOL. I think she's just about given up on trying to save me from my addiction.
I do have my Primo Oval Jr cleaned up and ready to sell. I'm probably going to shed a tear or two when it finally goes.

Y'all gotta wait at least six weeks. That's what Mr. Ben Lang told me for mine. Maybe being a Georgia resident, well maybe that might shorten the distance.
So you ordered a Lang? If so which model.
Just last month I was camping down there and drove right by Lang at 4 pm on a Thursday (they were open). I've been kicking myself ever since for not stopping in. No worries we'll be camping down there again next spring.
I'm quite certain Mrs skreef was glad we didn't stop in at Lang. She does know it's on the list for stops next trip.

@Jon B. When they were first announced (early October) I knew it was just a matter of time. Then a video was posted on Guru where I saw that awesome probe port and the hook was set. It just seemed like the perfect portable charcoal grill for camping (boating included).
I ordered mine Wednesday afternoon the day before Thanksgiving from Atlanta Grill Company. It arrived Friday afternoon the day after Thanksgiving. A record breaking delivery.
It will get it's true maiden voyage Christmas break on a trip to St Augustine. In the meantime I'm geting some practice runs on it.
Seems great minds think alike.

It was nominated for Top Pick on AstroBin. Not sure exactly what that means other than the little arrow badge.
I clicked that link. Totally awesome detail you posted.
This is probably a stupid question but here goes. Does 10x200" mean 10 frames at 200 seconds (3 minutes 20 seconds)?

Tee hee. That alien's got a hold of Charles' wallet. Looks like fun. Waiting to hear your reason/excuse for your next grill purchase. In the meantime, have fun - lots of fun.
I swear this is my last one - LOL
Of course Lang offset smokers is only a few hours drive from my house. Right down where we like to go camping...

Those PK's are the grill most of y'all folks south of the Mason Dixon line prefer for competition steak cookoff. Yep, a good camping grill there and when done you could just store it in the 23. Those grills date back to the 50's or 60's I recall.
1952
For straight up grilling they are top of the class and the build quality is right up there. For low-n-slow....... Well I had 2 Boston Butts on the main grate of my 19" table top KK today. Just finished chunking the meat up. A chunk of the bigger butt (26 oz.) is vacuum sealed and in the freezer labeled Camping - St Augustine, FL - Christmas Break.
Just needed charcoal searing while going camping to compliment my CampChef griddle/burner setup.

To be fair, I don’t think it is big enough to be counted as another whole grill. Maybe 1/2 or 3/4...
Under normal circumstances I might agree with you but the grate is 17" x 12" which is more than enough space for just me and Mrs skreef camp grilling.
Definitely more usable space compared to my old Akorn Jr. and about the same usable space as my 16" KK. And I can actually carry this - LOL

Yup I couldn't resist. The newly released PKGO. PK's latest addition, a table top version for camping or tailgating. Can be used as a single unit with a lid or used as two open top hibachi grills. Dual top and bottom vents. Even comes with a probe port in the back of the lid.
Should make a great addition to the Travel Trailer. Had to try it out with a few quick burgers for lunch.

I'm sure you've heard of the Clear Sky Charts.
I live in the middle of nowhere, GA. On a dark sky scale of 1-10 with cities being a 1 or 2 and truly dark areas of the world being 9 or 10 my front yard would probably be considered about an 8. Not bad for viewing the universe. When my relatives come and visit they are amazed at how easy it is to see the Milky-way.
Anyway years ago when I was into astrophotography I heard about the Canadian scientists who were generating Clear Sky Charts. I sent them an email and requested one be generated for my front yard. They approved my request and ever since I can pull up a Clear Sky Chart anytime. I pull it up frequently when me and Mrs skreef are planning to sit out in the yard and star gaze.
For anyone reading this here is a link to what I'm talking about. It's a live link so what you see will be a snapshot of the sky over my house at the day and time you hit the link.

Anyway I'm just curious, could you post the link to nearest Clear Sky Chart for where you usually setup your telescope.

Cool bikes CKreef, when you get to the point that pedaling up those long steep hills become a chore slide your seat onto this seat. Great for camping, 50 mile range, folds in half and seat slides in with handle bars fold down to make a nice package. Tired of pedaling, need a start at the stop sign,,no worry, hit the throttle. 500 watt motor peaking at 750. Unfortunately they only come in B&W not so pretty as yours but, the effort is sooooo easy
Ebikes were never really a thought. Both me and Mrs skreef sit on our butts 10+ hours a day at work. We figured we needed a bit of exercise.
I imagine a few years down the road when we retire we'll consider a ebike.

Funny, but I had a Schwinn Stingray, neon green, back when I was a kid! Mine was a single speed, with the banana seat.
Those old Stingrays, if they are in good condition, are worth a small fortune these days.

Mrs skreef is the chip chef. Sliced extra thin and deep fried. In the end don't forget the most important part - sprinkled with Australian chicken salt.
We have an air fryer but deep fried is the only way to go for these.
