Welcome Lannoos, you seem to have brisket mastered. That's a juicy looking one if I ever saw one. There's so many ways and items to use as a heat deflector that I don't think we'll come to an agreement on the "right way." If it works, it's a good way to do it. 

The more you use it, the more you'll love it. It's simply the best cooker of any type I've ever owned. Yours is a real beauty too! Those pebbles look great.

Amen to what ckreef said. I have too many recipe books and I never use them. I pick and choose what I like from different recipes when I've never made a certain dish before. But in general, I don't use recipes. 

Nothing like a good hot dog. Unfortunately, you didn't even get the Komodo dirty. Still looks brand new. Now get a hunka hunka burning animal on there and sling the grease!!

That's as close to perfect as you can get. Looks delicious!

Im JaxxQ, I am another KJ owner that loves his Big Joe and Jr. and have been eyeing these beauties for some time, at first I thought no way was I going to shell out 5 to 8K for one of these grills, well  after following CC, Wilberpan, 5698K, ckreef and Bosco over at the KG forum I have come to the realization that resistance is futile, So now its decision time, I absolutely love the Metallic Bronze,  I just havent decided whether to get The beast or the Ultimate 23 with a 19"TT. Any thought guys

As Robert and I know, the metallic bronze cooks better, gets hotter, produces juicier meat, lasts longer and is the cause of the Swedish Bikini Team coming out of retirement. No, really.  Good luck on whatever you decide to order. You'll love it.

Neat trick, Tony. I need to try that one too. For those of you who don't like hot dogs, try the all beef dogs. They're much better than some of those that have animal parts that you don't know what the part is or even what animal it came off of. 

Good luck guys on getting them at the end of this week or beginning of next week. I've been there. The wait is 100% worth it.

The wings went on first by about 30 minutes. The breasts were marinaded for 4 hours and then direct grilled. Wings had crispy skin and the breasts were very moist.

Perfect sized appetizer!

Her Dad said, "You tell your boyfriend that if he opens your hood and tries to check your oil with his dipstick, I will tighten his nuts so hard that his headlights will pop out and he will start leaking out of his exhaust pipe."

Nice looking tender ribs. Had to be good.

Wasn't necessary to grill it, but that's the way we like it. Adds a slight smokey taste. I'd rather have yellow fin tuna and will buy that next time.

Nice yardbird cook. Looks like it has some crispy skin on it.

I have a CyberQ and I choke the fan down to around 15% or so. It takes just a puff of air to keep the Komodo going.

I think it's bigger than THAT cat's head. At least the biscuit didn't stick his tongue out
