Bummer that's a closed group. Would have loved to read all that.
My daughter said you are more than welcome to join

Not trying to start a war, I’m just saying I saw the aftermath of a coworker that about lost their life on a new cable failing that was rated for much higher than the weight it was pulling. If it was made and/or designed by man, it can have issues so safeguard yourself.
there was no one standing behind the crate as it was being pulled up the driveway

ok that’s cool no back breaking here. How about the rest of the trip?
once it got up the driveway getting it out of the crate and rolling into place was easy. it rolls very smoothly

I'm guessing the cable was rated for way more than that grill weighs. Looks like a walk in the park. Hardest part looked like keeping the wire going back on the wrench nice and pretty.
What I want to see is the video of it going up the ramp
The cable is rated for 7500 pounds. It actually pulled the jeep down the driveway a little bit

It was my first reverse sear and I think the best cook I have had. The KK really has been transformational for how I cook

The top grate that sits in the middle of the dome or the main grate?

Wow. That is a nice smoke ring. And I have never heard of a bone in brisket before.

This is by far the best thing I have cooked on my KK so far. Cooked it at 250 and it was done in only 4 hours. The bones fell out of the meat as I was taking it off the grill.
