Miles 0
I have a single tile that came loose on the exhaust cap. Would anyone have a recommendation on what materials and process to use to replace the tile?

Is the KK new or did you buy it second hand?
tony b 8,122
Yeah, if you have the repair kit, there should be a tube of grout in it. Just put a bit of that on the tile and push it back into place.
Miles 0
Thank you. I’m the original owner purchased 4 years ago. Thought the grout was for between the tiles and not the adhesive for the back. Much appreciated. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
tekobo 3,973
Hi @Miles. The advice that I have had from @DennisLinkletter in the past is that the supplied grout is also good for sticking tiles back in. I knocked one out on the lip once and that is how I repaired it. Tagging Dennis onto this thread in the hope that he can respond to confirm.
Miles 0
Now that I have it apart the one missing tile on the exhaust cap turned into 9 tiles as they were hanging on by a thread. Challenge I have is the supplied grout in the repair kit is rock solid and not usable Can someone point me in the direction of what I should purchase given the high heat in this area? tony b 8,122
Yes, you can buy the grout in the KK store. It does get hard over time and I've bought several tubes over the years.
DennisLinkletter 2,487
Yes the acrylic material is used as both the adhesive and grout for the grills.. It's on the website in spare parts.
