  1. The K7 has been in its John Edwards jammies for the past ten years - actually, both have JE jammies. The K7 has come into play before doing a ham or turkey hanging on the meat hanger. There is a lot of room in the dome. It definitely has its shortcomings though ... I suppose the only real functional thing I don't have on my KK, that the more modern ones do, is the upper level rack - the one on legs. Is that something that comes into play a lot? Very useful? Seems like it would be.
  2. For completeness - the notorious K7 who's lid is nary impossible to lift up!
  3. The arrival crate - just for fun... The date on this pic is 12/06 - so I was off on the date....
  4. More reply options! Got it!
  5. This is jpg - dragged-n-dropped - no go ... ? What is the trick? Sorry to be a pain -
  6. I found one to send - but having difficulty. I get: "An error occurred You are not allowed to use that image extension on this community" Sorry ... old time KK owner, knewb forum poster
  7. I'm pretty sure 2005. The previous Summer I bought a K7 from the Kamado.com company in Sacramento CA - but my wife could not open the lid! It was the next Summer I found the spring-loaded version called Komodo... In poking around I suppose the one I have morphed into the 23" Supreme - but I don't have three levels nor the fancy latch or dual-dial mojo. Do you believe the 23" Supreme accessories will fit on mine?
  8. I'm curious, is mine the oldest one here? Mine is an "OTB SUPREME #247" Still going strong, although doesn't sport the nifty enhancements

Hi What type of chimney do you guys use on the KK? The ones with the handles don't fit down there. Jim
