  1. Broken Lid

    I am in receipt of my new GenII. The only thing I can say is the customer service is beyond extraordinary. Dennis has not only met but exceeded my expectations. If anyone is on the fence about purchasing A Komodo over the internet and has doubts as to the quality and customer service please PM me and I will erase those doubts.

  2. Lid Falling Apart

    For you readers I did not prop it up or place anything under the lid. I was having problems with the latch over the last few weeks and I guess it was a manufacturing issue. To set the record straight I was very frustrated after continually giving praise to the Komodo to my guests. I spoke with Dennis and he is replacing the unit. So yes I am a happy camper and the customer service is great. Worse yet is that I had to fire up the gasser. It's going to be a lonely few weeks until I get the new one.

  3. I was having trouble keeping temps at 225 for some ribs. Seemed to get to 300 even with BBQ Guru. After some frustration and Dennis bashing I checked the gas door (have a Gen II). Open just a touch - closed it things were perfect. Just a reminder.

  4. Install

    Received my Guru with small inducer tube (also ordered the one they recommended but it did stick out quite far). I did silicone the tube but the fit was so perfect needed a rubber mallet to fit it. BTW want to post some pics of my new Gen II, please lead me to that thread.
