  1. I understand that the gas burner is intended to pre-warm a grill, mostly in cold climates. I like the idea, but details online are sparse. Should I get one of these? One post in the forums mentions that an entry for gas burners is no longer standard. I have a 2024 32". Is it compatible? Does the burner need to be removed from the grill? It looks like it is made from cast aluminum, and I know the fire can get hot enough to melt aluminum if it gets away. What maintenance is typically needed? For example, does the nozzle need regular cleaning from ash? Thank you for taking a look at this post.
  2. Do you have the firebox splitter for 2-zone cooking on your 32" or larger? Flip it. That's it. The semicircle plate (pictured) looks symmetrical, but one half has greater protuberance than the other. If yours looks like this, simply flip it around. I asked KK support about this, and they went so far as to send a video demonstrating the solution. I feel like I should have tried this myself before emailing support. I'll do better not to waste Dennis's time next time I have a point of confusion.
  3. The imbedded link is a "mailto" pointing to customer support. "Secret menu" was an allusion to some restaurants doing the same, but there isn't really a secret product menu that I know of, though that would be cool. The wheel chock will reportedly be available for order via the KK website soon, but for now, you can email [email protected] to place an order. I ordered two, myself.
  4. Despite my Komodo Kamado forming its own Lagrange point with the earth, it still rolls too easily on my slightly angled patio atop its unnaturally sturdy casters. Available through their secret menu, Komodo Kamado wheel chocks are just what you would expect: indestructible continuously welded plates of thick stainless steel which will outlast human civilization.
