Even competition wins.[/quote'] I got my start on a WSM, in-fact, I still have it and will break it out from time to time, it's also easy to travel with (I have the smaller 18"). If you stroll the isles of a BBQ Comp you'd be surprised at how many are there and how many are winning comps with them. I feel my mastery of the WSM greatly shortened the learning curve with my KK (and the other unit I owned). If you can run a WSM you can run a KK in your sleep. The two play quite nicely together. So far I've used the daisy wheel exclusively, but the highest I've taken Hestia to has been 650.
