Today I had the honor of getting off early from work and heading to the butcher . Not any butcher but Ziers Prime Meats. Wow. I was greeted outside the door by a KK standing proud. Entering Ziers was even better. I was like a kid in the candy store, prepared with a insulated shopping bag. Now that I think about it, I should have had a cooler. The Meat was out of this world, homemade sausage, natural chickens, smoked salmon, beef jerky and a piles of charcoal and wood chips to name the least. I picked up a 5 rib prime beef to cook on the KK this weekend and even watched as the family cut it down from a full rack to a 10lb section. I could go on and on. If anyone is near the Chicago land area Ziers is the place to go.
