I can post some more images ones it finally stops raining cats and dogs here… The metal part sits at the bottom of the grill under the fire box and basket.

Dennis says it actually does and stops the grill froM potentially wobbling. it was news to me, as all images I have seen before don’t show this part.

Yes I can. It’s on the bottom below the charcoal basket. I wrote with Dennis, it’s normal for “built in” versions.
