My wife who was born in Japan recalls her grandmother using a kamado in her kitchen when she was a little girl. She has fondly dubbed this black beauty "Doraemon", after the Japanese cartoon character. What a beautiful and easy to use piece of equipment. Based on the guidance in some forum posts I cooked some ribs over the weekend that turned out quite tasty. I'm going to give tandoori chicken a shot today. Quote
