jdbower Posted May 9, 2009 Report Posted May 9, 2009 I subscribe to International SOS Alerts and it seems like Dennis has been advertising in the Netherlands: Over 200 people have been infected with Q fever in the Netherlands since January. Fifty percent of cases are in the southern province of North Brabant (also called Noord Brabant, see map).
gerard Posted May 9, 2009 Report Posted May 9, 2009 Interesting. Once when I was very ill, the infectious dz doc (incidentally) discovered I had antibodies to Q fever. Apparently I had been exposed in the past but never became clinically ill. It's a rare occupational hazard for us vets.
