seanwiley
I don't see it described in the user manual. Should I plug it?
DachsieSlave
It is for your thermometer probe wires to go through. Like this and yes you should plug it for best temp. control. You should have a rubber plug in the box of tools that came with your KK that will fit in it. Like this

DachsieSlave
Well there was one in mine, but it may be something Dennis just started adding. I actually had gotten a few from jdbower for a very reasonable price already, and was surprised to find mine. You might want to check with him if you don't have one. seanwiley
I've managed to stick a wine bottle stopper in it which will hopefully solve the immediate issue. Can't let a little mechanical issue slow me down...... Wiley
jdbower
If the wine stopper starts to burn away a little wad of aluminum foil is also a good substitute. Enjoy your new toy!
