TheNakedWhiz
I just helped load up the black KK that Dennis gave me back in 2006 when it arrived damaged at a customer here in Raleigh. It will now be cared for by a very nice family we just met who live up in Maryland. The new owner has been lurking here for about a year and found my cooker on Craig's List. We arranged for him to pick it up on the way back from a family trip out west. Whew! Lot's of driving! We hope he'll show up here eventually. So, say goodbye to the old cooker because we will soon be saying hello to the new cooker.
v-boy
Re: Goodbye Black Textured KK.... Thanks for all your help in loading "Smoke". Since I got home I have fired it twice, Once just to try it and the other time to do chicken, some fresh potato's and a loaf of bread. I am really excited about doing more cooking. I am trying the royal oak from walmart and it seems to be fine. But I will admit that I really have no reference point to compare it to. Thanks again and I wish you the best with your new cooker V-boy
TheNakedWhiz
Re: Goodbye Black Textured KK.... You are quite welcome! I'm glad your family made it home safely. Feel free to ask for advice here on the forum. There are some very skilled owners here more than happy to pass on their knowledge.
