primeats Posted July 23, 2011 Report Share Posted July 23, 2011 Re: Bison (buffalo) grilling tips Since we have discovered my oldest daughters food sensitivities(no beef,pork,chicken,sometimes lamb, her own level of Hell being a butchers daughter!) we have been grilling a lot of bison/buffalo. With the use of a Jaccard machine(you can find the small hand held ones at some restaurant supply houses for $20/$30 )I've been grilling ribeyes and new york strips frequently! I treat them as a beef steak and the results are amazing!Loving the burgers too!don't be afraid of grilling bison! The flavor is fantastic and the health benefits are a plus!
