gvv Posted December 17, 2011 Report Posted December 17, 2011 Hi eveybody, Does anybody know if Johnny Boy still makes covers? or if not, does anybody know an alternative. I just bought a Kamado and need a cover, I have sent him an email and the cheque is ready to go out no response.

Sounded like he was otherwise occupied for the holidays, and wouldn't be able to deliver until mid January...which was fine with me. Hopefully for him, he's somewhere remote for the holidays.

If you live in a windy climate like I do, the bottom edge of the cover will get some wear from hitting the cement the KK sits on here in TX. Simple solution is to use a bungee cord under the KK connected to the two grommets provided. The cover is a great product and this should help it last.
