I am a passionate cook. We now live in a higher altitude (5300 feet) in a smallish historic town in the mountains and the altitude is taking a bit of an adjustment in my cooking style. We prefer to cook in rather than dine out for the most part. Hubby and I cook, smoke and grill like mad on the weekends as that is the only time he is here and then we feast individually on the divided spoils of our endeavors all week long. We have 2 fur children living at home, a goldendoodle and a labradoodle. The human kids have long flown the coop and are scattered around the country.
