Pie
in Techniques
I'm going to Door county (the peninsula north of Green Bay) for Rainier cherries this weekend. Has anybody tried to make a cherry pie on their cooker? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Good for you George!

Hey Handler, I notice you have your K up for sale. I assume your moving up! You won't regret it!

Very nice. Do you ever work with black walnut? I'm a black walnut freak!

Hey, thanks for the banter! Love this stuff. The bottom line is I am going to order my grill floss from them directly, because I don't want the hassle of what DJ went through.

I just got off the phone with Dennis. He called to resolve various minor issues. After I got off the phone, I realized it is a Saturday and he is on holiday! Can anybody name another company that the owner calls to resolve issues on a Saturday while on vacation!? The customer service with a KK is second to none!!

I received my polder plugs today, and they work like a charm. The grill clip and meat probe both fit through the hole in the plug perfectly. Thanks DJ!

I use the Guru and wouldn't be without it. With the Guru you can truly "set it, and forget it" (sorry Ronco) and go have a few adult beverages with DJ.

I'm not a big fan of gas either. I use the Primo quick light. I can get a box of 32 locally for about $12.00. All it takes is one and I'm of to the races.

I'm thinking of experimenting with apple pies to get the feel. Lots cheaper!
