Hawaii? Now I'm jealous.

The wife and I have been to Kauai 6 times in the last two years. if we didn't have little ones we would be living in Hanalei right now.

If Dennis estimates are close, my KK should be landing on US soil in the next few days. With a little luck I'll b doing a brisket on Halloween.

How often do you find that the burner needs to be replaced? In the event a burner does need to be replaced, is the burner included in a standard size or would it need to be ordered from the company?

Does anyone have experience with either type of wood? I am fortunate to have a wood dealer here in the NYC area that is including a sample with my delivery of Wicked Good Charcoal but I have no experience cooking with either. if you have any suggestions, I'm all ears.

I was literally an hour away from ordering a Kamado when he emailed me and directed me here. I was already wary because I had read some bad reviews online and that was just what I needed. He really should get a commission because without him I'd be replacing tile in six months on an inferior product.

That would be me.
