Re: Sauce - rub
Excellent looking ribs! What sauce and rub did you use?
I used a recipe I saw here in the forums from Chris Lilly's book. His 4 Stage Ribs.....best recipe I have found for ribs so far.

They look great.. And about how long did they cook ??
About 5 hours

Did my 1st cook today, chicken...slow cooked indirect, chicken was great!! Just one issue, outer meat was a little hard, you could pull the meat from it but was hard enough you couldnt eat it. Think i found the recipe here, cooked for 3 hours at 250, turned it and cooked for another hour and started hitting it with some sauce during the last 30 min.
Any suggestions would be appreciated...
doing a pork butt tonight....

Dennis, did you use the stone and drip pan? Did you turn them at all or just let them go?
Been wanting to try wings on the KK but just wasn't sure of a method to try.
I did those indirect and now I do them room temperature a little hotter maybe 300
and then pull them off in a big bowl crank it up to 450 and finish them off direct to blacken crisp them up a bit.. turning madly...
