My new friends arrived yesterday and I couldn't be happier. This is a short picture story to introduce you to them and give you a feel for the differences between the 23 Ultimate and the new 21 Supreme. First, I have to cede to Dennis and refer you to his photos and announcement here: Here is a picture of the two of them installed at our home in England. They are looking pretty and our "ODK" will get a lick of paint or tiles in the summer to provide a more suitable setting. Here is a shot to show off the 21's manly shoulders And the 23's rounded belly by comparison The main grates don't look too different to each other in terms of surface area But the baking stones do! I've left the heat deflectors in their packaging for the moment because so few of you seem to use them! And here is a comparison between the fire baskets and the drip pans And finally, the view that I am so lucky to have just outside my door I will post any additional differences as I find them. Do ask if there are any photos you would like or things that you want to know about them.

Today was our first cook on the new 23" Ultimate. We're in the middle of the burn in (lots of venting ) so we threw on some Bratwurst and buns around lunchtime. Was delicious!

She arrived today without incident. I got it uncrated with my husband in maybe 30 minutes. Getting it over the plywood box and off the pallet, just the two of us, was nerve wracking but we got it safely down the ramp. I took a few pictures — nothing beats seeing it in person though! Now to read up on the burn in and start meal planning...

Hi all, placed my order two weeks ago after four years of indecision and emailing Dennis a few times a year with questions. Tried different BBQ's and smokers but always knew the KK was what I wanted. Had my heart set on a 23 in matte black pebbles, so that is what I went with and I'm very excited. I'm in Perth, Australia and my new KK (still working on a name) is at the dock about to be loaded onto a ship to Fremantle, going via Singapore. Should arrive at the end of November, then its however long customs clearance takes, and its mine! I have to say that in the two weeks since I took the plunge, I have been reading posts on this forum just about every day, and it is amazing what I have learnt so far. You guys are awesome. Dennis's team are excellent, have kept me posted all along the way and even sent me a sneak peak of my unit before they packaged it up.
