luthcol
I have been using my KK for a few months now and am loving it. Can anyone recommend a rotisserie for the KK. I tried contacting ez-que but they have not had them in stock for quite some time. I am looking to have it by Thanksgiving so I can rotisserie the bird. Would need to handle at least 15 lbs. thanks in advance. Mike
bryan
Re: rotisserie for KK I have been using my KK for a few months now and am loving it. Can anyone recommend a rotisserie for the KK. http://www.vikingrange.com They have both the 6 and 8 inch. see http://www.komodokamado.com/forum/viewt ... 8&start=30 Sorry see page 2 BQRB306t (6") BQRB308t (8") It is nice to have both. When using the KK you do not need either. They are just nice to have. Go with the larger motor. I think any motor will work with Dennis's set up. luthcol
Thanks for the info. Is there a motor that you can recommend? Mike
Syzygies
BQRB306T (6") Rotisserie Basket for 30 All Grill & 41 Grill with Side Burners - 6 inch BQRB308T (8") Rotisserie Basket for 30 All Grill & 41 Grill with Side Burners - 8 inch motor links: E-Z Que Rotisserie Motors Any other rotisserie motors other than EZ Que? We haven't jumped yet. Does one clearly want both baskets? Our primary use will be chickens. While the full "two 14 lb turkey" package would include the 8" basket and the 50# motor, we could get by with just the 6" basket and the 30# motor, for half the price. Fetzervalve
....we could get by with... You could get by with a $100 gas grill, or you could have gotten by with that concrete monster you had... Get 'em both, you will use them eventually, but I'm pretty sure it will be difficult to get 50 pounds of meat in either basket. I should rotate something this weekend. luthcol
EZ Que still in business? I ordered the EZ Que rotisserie motor directly from EZ Que on Nov 8th. I have tried to call and e-mail with no results. Are they out of business? Mike
cruzmisl
I got tired of seeing "out of stock" on their webpage not to mention their motors are overpriced. I bought this one http://www.onegrill.com/Electric_Rotisserie_Motor_p/4pm05.htm from onegrill.com and it works perfectly, very quiet, durable. It also costs half of what EZ Que wanted and I had it in 2 days. I'd cancel my order if I were you. Just my 2 cents.
trudeto
I ordered the Onegrill motor and both the 6 and 8 inch rotisserie's from Viking just before Thanksgiving, and they are both working great. so far, chickens on the 6 inch, and a 13lb turkey on the 8 inch. I have plans for a prime rib for Christmas on the 8 inch. Tom
bryan
Does not seem like you had a long wait time on the delivery.
trudeto
Two or three days for the motor, and 3-4 days for the rotisseries. Pretty quick.....
