mcsmoke Posted December 9, 2011 Report Posted December 9, 2011 Just wired some of my hard earned money to Dennis in exchange for a 23" KK wammer jammer with a hammer slammer AKA dark autumn nebula. I have a couple names picked out but will not finalize until after the burial of my 9 yr old Kamado (a Richard Johnson disappointment). I wanted to thank Smoke for allowing me to drop by his place in Frisco, in a rainstorm, to check out his KK. I could tell it broke his heart to pull off the custom blue cover and expose the shiny blue tiles to mother nature. He probably toweled it off and put the cover back on when the Mrs. and I departed......I know I would have! As soon as I saw Smokes KK I was sold. The precision fit and finish. The food grade silicon gasket. The stunning looks. The one handed lid opening. The TX size amount of stainless steel.....Makes my old Kamado look crude! Just ordered the cover from John too so all I need is the KK! I look forward to being part of the KK community! McSmoke Quote
