Hogwart Posted December 28, 2006 Report Share Posted December 28, 2006 Hello and Happy Holidays. Hope all is well with everyone. I am planning to cook a whole beef tenderloin on New Years Eve. I figure on rubbing with EVO and salt, pepper or maybe char crust and doing indirect @ 500 until medium rare. Any suggestions? An oven recipe that is great is to cook @ 500 for 11 minutes, turn oven off and leave inside for 1 hour WITHOUT opening the oven door. It's real good.
