  1. I grew up in Kingston (actually Hurley) 90 miles north of the City and it was very "country", had lots of corn fields and farms. Nice place to grow up. 7 or 8 ski slopes within an hours drive. Lots of places to pull off on a dirt road and have a kegger. The Catskills are very pretty in the fall when the leaves turn too. I loved the snow as a kid but don't miss it now.

  2. The thing I never liked about a BGE is the top damper, instead of it being screwed in it just sits on top and every time you opened it it fell off. Also the one that comes standard had no adjustment just a solid lid that you rested at an angle to get the proper air flow. Very primitive compared to the KK. I have to admit I haven't used one in a long time and maybe they have fixed this.

  3. Thats funny, I never had any idea what Lemoncella was, then my parents came back from Italy and brought some back for us. It stayed in the cabinet until we had some daring company and we decided to try it out after several other adult beverages. Much to our surprise it was really good.

  4. Question: In your last pic, I see your lump basket on the cabinet. It looks like it has wire legs? Mine is just a bowl with handles; has it been redesigned?

At one point Dennis was making the charcoal baskets with these legs. I don't know if they are still built this way or if this is just a left over. I don't know the benefit of them but I do have a couple of these versions.

  5. I bought one of these years ago and at the time questioned the longevity of the blades. The salesperson at the time said there was no need to buy replacement blades as they would never wear out. Being the pessimist that I am I order a few extra blades (don't even know where I put them) needless to say the salesperson was right, I will never need a replacement blade. This thing is great.
