Hi Poochie, it is olive and gold pebble. I wanted one with brown colors. Really liked the picture. And everyone says they are better than the pictures. Thanks

Thanks to all. Robert, that was exactly Dennis point. Davey I would like to throw everything at it at once. Waiting for the arrival and expecting is something else. Cheers.

Harbor freight Thanks....

Thanks to all, I sent it to Texas because I have a friend that has a huge warehouse right on the border, and his business is import/export to and form Mexico and South America. Yes my wife is great, when she learned I was about to buy it, she told me she wanted it to be her gift. Although we both work, I think we will be using it on weekends. Thanks again to all.

Captvideo and bryan, Will that harborfire work with the small portable tanks or it needs a larger one?

Thanks Tinyfish, yes it is a nice gift from my wife. My birthday was in january and when she learned that I was thinking of getting a kamado, she told me she wanted it to be her gift, as she did not give me anything. Any one kamado I wanted, no buts or ifs. And well here I am waiting for it to be shipped. Thanks again.

Hi all, as some of you know I ordered a KK 32, so now Im waiting for the confirmation on the shipment from Calif to Texas. This is going to be my first kamado style grill, its my first grill ever. Dont get me wrong, Ive grilled before, on my dad's grill and a long time at home with my parents. The best thing is that this is a gift. So now Im waiting for it to arrive to Texas so I can start the process of importing it to Mexico. Thanks all for your insights, they where taken into thought when deciding to get the one. Now I think I'll have to name it. Thanks again.

Hi Wiburpan, I plan to have more friends come over to dinner at least twice a month, and I would like to throw everything in it. Even pizza for everyone. Besides its the only one that I will have, and as CC says its better to have the space and not need it. Thanks

Dennis and the fact that almost everything will be grilling. Thanks

Thanks Ceramic Chef and tinyfish, the input from the members, reading posts and speaking with Dennis made my decision. It was not easy, I was set on a 23. Ive already ordered it and still had some doubts size wise, and called Dennis at the last minute to change the order. Thanks again.

Yes Robert, by the way almost all of my cooking will be grilling and some pizza baking. Thank you for your input and insight. Fernando

Hello again, After a lot of thought and already ordered a 23, I called Dennis and changed the order for a 32. The call was in time, right before it shipped from Calif. So ordered the 32 with side tables, basket splitter, baking stone and cover. Thanks again

In preparation for the big day, I went out today and bought a MAPP torch. Thanks
-
It seems to me that the with the long weed burner is safer than to go inside with a torch and light the coal.

Thanks Robert. Fernando

Its going to Mexico. And thanks for everything.

Thank you Ceramic Chef, I had some doubts size wise. But I think I will stay with the 23, as most of my cooks will be for 5 people, and maybe twice a month for up to 8. Thanks again Fernando

Besides the obvious size / weight, which differences are there? Like in cooking, if you do the same recipe will it be the same or it differs from one and the other? time to get it ready, time to shut it off, etc. Thanks
-
Excellent. Thanks Fernando
-
Syzygies, what kind of coal is the one you use? From the picture it seems like brickets, is that right? Fernando

So blue is propane and yellow is MAPP?
