Tyrus Posted May 22, 2020 Report Share Posted May 22, 2020 You'll find the Tel-tru to be pretty reliable. I don't use anything except a good thermometer to check for temp and tenderness in the KK. I'm comfortable with checking the temp once in a while or popping the top for appearance. If a guru or temp and meat probe makes you comfortable then go for it. A thermometer is all you need and maybe a reliable wristwatch too. 20 degrees at start up is acceptable, temps stabilize once your heat soaked and then your temps hold at their settings Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
