BARDSLJR Posted August 2, 2024 Report Posted August 2, 2024 I got a 7lb lamb roast from Costco this afternoon and planned to cook it on my 32" KK this weekend. I've cooked a lot of roasts on the KK, but never a lamb roast. So, I imagine there are some of my KK peeps out there who have experience with this: recommendations, tips, instructions, recipes?
Syzygies Posted August 3, 2024 Report Posted August 3, 2024 I asked my wife, who belongs to a Greek Orthodox church. Her immediate answer: They overcook it. My advice would be heretical: Sous vide for a long time at a rather rare target temperature, then grill on the KK to get a nice exterior. That's my go-to for any meat better served rare than "low and slow" trad BBQ. 1
