I should mention that scraping stainless steel with carbon steel is not a good idea. This might not be an issue since it will be covered in grease most of the time. But generally speaking, anywhere stainless steel comes in contact with carbon, it will develop rust spot. The only proper metal substance for cleaning SS, is SS. If you are going to use this scraper, buy a SS brush also and give it a good brushing when you are through to avoid leaving any carbon traces on the grill grates. -=Jasen=- Thanks guys, since i haven't got my KK yet (but it's in the country!!!) I haven't used my BB on my KK....I'm not sure now, the principle looks sound though, I've asked Tom to comment (via email) on the other thread re the SS cleaning....Will keep you posted...
