Hawaiian Pirate
Re: Man that is nice! You do good work' date=' so what all will this kitchen include?[/quote'] Thanks, The section with the KK's will have small cabinets and a Fire Magic Power burner, it can be used as a normal burner or it put out 60,000 BTU for wok cooking and more. The surround for the KK's will be the same stone that is on the lanai. The other end is the bar area, it will have a fridge, sink and more cabinets. The cabinet doors will come from a friends mill where he cuts boards and slabs from dead fall or sick trees that have to come down All the counters will be granite don't know what color yet. The bar top will be a slab of old growth Koa found under a friends house. The bar foot rail will be Strawberry guava wood from my yard. The roof will be held up by Ohia logs from the Big Island. The inside of the ceiling will be Bamboo. The roof not to sure if i want to go with Thatch or just shingles. All i need now is more time and money!! johnnyboy
Pirate, you'll soon forget about the money. After all that other work go with Thatch roof. JMO Don't forget to install some wireing so you can light up those KK's. Can't wait to see it finished, and during production shots periodically.
