First cook! - Lamb Shoulder

This is a really popular slow cook option down here (Australia)

For my first cook it came out not too bad - didn't take it to a high enough temp so it was a bit chewy

but very tasty.

Thanks for the advice yesterday - massively overshot and had to wait to cool down. Part of the reason

I didn't have enough time for the cook :mad: Ah well next time...

Up here in the States too! I just did a couple of lamb sirloin chops for dinner tonight, except not low/slow, but a nice hot (500F) sear on the lower grill. Dry rubbed with Ras El Hanout (Moroccan spice blend). Yummy!
