Pez
Hello to all. I have a beautiful Amber Nebula Pebble 23 coming to Naples next month. I look forward to participating in the forums with all you seasoned KK Vet's and newbies alike. Have had an old Kamado (1998), Southern Yankee Roto and Caja China over the past years. My new 23 will be my one and only now! Excited to be one of you... Pez

tony b
Re: KK Coming to Naples, FL Welcome! Curious - how did you like the caja china? I've only seen them on TV (Bobby Flay).
Pez
Re: KK Coming to Naples, FL Tony B, The Caja China was a great cooker. I have passed onto my son who tailgates at Washington Redskins Park and has cooked several pigs at the stadium. You can do a 80-100 lb. in decent weather conditions in about six hours. The only downfall is that you don't get any smoke flavor unless you use a "Smoke Pistol" or other smoke generator to pump smoke into the box. We usually do the Cuban style with Mojo injected into the meat. All said, they are relatively inexpensive for the original wood box and can cook a lot of meat.
