Stoker for KK23, is 10cfm needed?

I'm ready to get a Rock's Stoker. (yep, I realize I don't "need" it) My question is this, is it really necessary to have the 10cfm fan? The KK is so efficient I'm wondering if the 5cfm fan would suffice. My plan is to use it when I do the long, low temp cooks. I typically throw the meat on the KK in the morning and leave and want the ability to monitor/adjust as needed.

anyone else using the 5cfm with the KK23?

I have a Guru with the 10cfm fan. Works great for me. Not familiar with Stoker design, but the Guru fan has an adjustable damper in the outlet, so you can throttle the flow to meet your needs.

I think I have the 5 cfm fan (I'll confirm) as I originally bought it for my WSM. Works great when I use it. Rarely use it anymore as I find once I get my KK heat soaked and dialed in she just sits there. I do still break her out on overnights though.

My approach with the Stoker is I bring my cooker-up manually to temp and once she's at temp I'll turn Stoker on and let her run it from then on.

I'll confirm which fan I have.

Confirmed, I have the 10 cfm, workk quitel nicely with my 23"
