The two on the left are for the big rotisserie basket and the second from the right is the shaft that goes from the rotisserie motor into the KK. Just use the rotisserie bracket that says New on it, put the other bracket in a spares box in case you ever need it, thats what i did with my extra one

Thanks! I think since I ordered separately I got two sets.

  2. There is a smaller bolt at the center bottom of each of the side shelf brackets but I don’t know what it is for, can anyone please shed some light? Is it supposed to help hold the tool hanger (which I have left off because of wanting to use the cover)?
Additionally I have a small bracket in my “spares” box that is labeled “side plate grill hanger” and is a smaller version of the grill too! hanger. Where does it attach (any pictures)?
Thanks so much for your help!

  3. Looks darn tasty. I do pizza in my pizza oven at about 900° (See pic) however this looks great and you may have me convinced to try it when I am not in the mood to fire up the big oven! The dough is probably slightly different than what I use but you can’t argue with results! The 3 day ferment makes a huge difference in taste too, much deeper flavor.
Congratulations! That is a complete success!

  4. Approximately 6 weeks after it’s arrival (we were away for almost a month just after delivery) I finally got a forklift guy to move the crate to my back porch (yard is gravel and slightly slanted. No other way to do it. Uncrated yesterday finishing just before a monsoon downpour started. We had hoped that the blue would match the pizza oven and it does! Better pictures later if the monsoon clouds go away but wanted to get this picture of the brothers from another mother posted. What everyone says is true, they are more beautiful in person and this thing is incredibly well built! Will get side tables on and get it fired up soon!

That young lady is quite talented!! What a work of art this cooker is. I don't think I could cook in it and mess it up!

I have messed things up in it but it does provide nice even heat!
Worst thing I have done is when I finished a pizza and pulled it out with the turning peel instead of the full sized peel, bumped my hand on something and promptly dropped the pizza on the ground! Thankfully I always have extra dough but it was a great looking pizza! 😢

Which tile did you order? I have a 32" that should be here soon. I went with the cobalt blue square tile. This will be my first kamado style grill.

    Same exact tile choice!

Welcome to club, Wobster.  32" Cobalt blue Komodo's last much longer than the other colors, so you did good. The only way to make it better was to order pebbles. It'll take a little while to get to your house so that'll give you time to sell the pellet pooper and the Green Egg.  Ask any questions you'd like because the answers are free and worth about that much.

My wife is a professional artist and our Pizza oven (that it will be near) has square tiles so tile shape and color were completely her choice! 🤣

The newer models have a port in the wall that you can run your cables through. No need to pinch the cable between the lid/body/gaskets! You'll even get little silicone 'plugs' that have a cutout for cable so it helps prevent excess heat loss. The only other thing is depending on which probes you have you MAY have to buy a straight temp probe vs the angles ones so they fit through the port. I know some people have bent them to fit but I just bought straight probes (I have a Thermoworks Q so they are the thermocouple connectors. I think the 'pro' connectors fit fine though.. I can't remember).

I have the Pro probes (came with the signals device) so I hope they fit. If not I can get straight ones.
