Re: MY NEW KK!!! Just got back today. I ran a bag of charcoal thru it before I left and tonight I had a steak. What a dream to cook on....I love it!

Re: MY NEW KK!!! Lee, I would love to get together with you someday as you are not to terribly far away. My KK will be shipped after we get back from Mexico (we have a wedding to attend). I am pretty excited about cooking on a work of art....IN FACT I GAVE my RJ Kamado away to a friend this weekend! He was excited to get it and vowed to repair it...I was just as excited to get rid of it!

Yes, I went to LSU and yes I bleed purple and gold and after the other night my wife thought she may have to put me on suicide watch after the game. I am so looking forward to my new KK!! It has really been a struggle using my other two from Richard... I mean with the top crumbling and all. Dennis, THANK YOU for quality, beauty and old time craftsmanship!!!! I can't wait. Steve

I am so excited. I am getting a new KK! It will be SO NICE to have one of these well built, crafted lovely beauties.....especially after struggling with with the two RJ built ones I have that are falling apart. Dennis, you are a class act. Steve

Re: Komodo Kamado Timeline and Milestones Lynn, Sounds like you have an Imperial Kamado. Those are made out of clay. While functional, after the stress of high heat, after a fashion you are left with crumbled earth. I had one and enjoyed it while it lasted. Then I made a mistake and got one of RJ's which is falling apart. Luckily, Dennis is going to let me adopt a KK in January! I am excited.
