Bucky96
Hi all, Wondering if any of you have a system to remotely monitor ambient temperature when using the rotisserie? Obviously grill grates are removed so you can't use a grill grate clip + Fireboard or Thermoworks. Alligator clip/ambient probe attached to the dome Tel-Tru probe? Any other ideas? Thanks and Happy Thanksgiving! Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
tony b
MEATER+ MEATER® | Wireless Smart Meat Thermometer | For BBQ & Kitchen Cooking Only thing out there that will work on a rotisserie. There's an ambient thermometer on the end of the meat probe, so you get both temperatures displayed in the app.

I don't always find its ambient temperature reading accurate... And you can only use it when it's in the meat. True, but it's to protect the internal circuits in the probe. They can't take the ambient cooking temperatures and the probe has to be inserted up to the scribed line to ensure this. jonj
I think Charles replaced his dome Tel-Tru with a ThermoWorks (or similar) probe which is hooked to a wifi or bluetooth device. Or something like that...
