Once heat soaked, the KK is very resilient and recovers temperature very quickly.

Once heat soaked, the KK is very resilient and recovers temperature very quickly. 

Maybe not heat soaked enough or too much water at once, but it never recovered as I expected on the dome thermometer. But the rest of the grill was very high temp on IR thermometer
