Porkchop
i've heard from an AB episode that it isnt necessarily recommended. basically like "corning" it. you'll wind up with pastrami or corned beef or something. never done it tho. ymmv. ThreeDJ16
Moved topic since it is not a recipe. To here "Techniques Tell us your way... Or ask for help learning a technique!" -=Jasen=-
Bobkat
That's funny cause I looked at "beef" and thought...nah, this isn't a recipe. Seems more like rubs, sauces, marinades etc. oh well
U2PLT
Brisket Brines One Brisket cooker said he used Stubbs Chile-Lime Rub with: 2 cloves of garlic, 1 Jalapeno pepper, 1 Habanero pepper, 1 Yellow onion, 5 whole peeled limes, Olive oil as needed. Combine ingredients into blender with enough olive oil to make slurry mixture and rub all over the brisket & put in refer overnight. I recall one person saying they soaked their brisket overnight covered with real Coke & cooked next day....
