I do use guava from time to time, i had a large strawberry guava tree that was to close to the house so i cut it down and cut most of the tree into biscuits. One large branch is going to be used as a foot rail for the bar in the outdoor kitchen. I also use kaiwa which a hawaiian version of mesquite. I would have to say my favorite is the kaiwe.
