Like Dennis, I like to come up with a design change each year. For 2009 I have added an engraved "P" & "S" with my Hermes engraver. I use a 3/8" diameter cutoff from a Dymonwood dowel. I place this in the center of the mills top. You can see this at www.cozycrafted.com. This means you can have two mills same size, but tell which one has salt or pepper very easily.
